Death is Easy is the first book in the three part Second Chances Series by Letty Frame. It’s a fantasy, paranormal, dark, reverse harem/why choose romance. This book deals with a lot of trauma and mental health issues. Please read the content/trigger warnings before reading.

Nora Hart loses everything when she’s rejected by her mate at only 18 years old. Her family, her pack, her home, her job, and most importantly, her wolf. Six years later she has crafted a seemingly happy life for herself. Every single day is still struggle for her though. A chance meeting with the CEO of the company she works for sends her world spinning. Nora wants more than anything to just be happy with her new situation but her head is telling her that this life isn’t worth living.

I love when an author legitimately has me feel every ounce of the emotions of a main character. I got teary multiple times throughout this book. I can relate to Nora and her mental health struggles so much. You really want to be happy but your brain and inner voice just pull you down so much it seems hopeless. The character development was also great. Each of Nora’s mates is unique, have their own personalities and give her different types of love that she desperately needs. I definitely recommend for those who like slow burn, dark, and emotional reads.
