Pip has been rescued. The Vampire God, Marlowe, along with his elite warrior vampire broke Pip out of the jail the Alpha Heir put her in after she rejected him and broke their bond. Marlowe seems to know Pip. He calls her his Bride and says her name is Ophelia but he won’t elaborate about their past. They set off from the shifter city in Nevada to the vampire territory in Washington. Along the way the have to avoid Mages and Shifters. Once they get to Washington it won’t be long until an army catches up with them.

Pip is still crazy as ever and I love it. She has no problem saying exactly what’s on her mind. Marlowe is pretty mysterious but he treats Pip like an absolute Queen. He is very possessive and very protective. I like them together. This book was definitely just as good as the first.
