The Ritual by Shantel Tessier is a Dark College Romance.

Holy moly this was a hot one. The Lords secret society gives each senior member a Chosen One at the start of each year. A Chosen One is to be submissive to her Lord in all things. This year, Blakley is Ryat’s Chosen. Blakely believes it was her choice to be with Ryat. The first real choice she’s had in her life. What she doesn’t know is, in the world of the Lords, someone is always pulling the strings behind the scenes. Chaos ensues, Blakely is being hunted and Ryat is determined to keep her.

Ryat really carried this book for me. His alpha, possessive, jealous, dominating personality was *chef’s kiss* perfect. Blakely starts out a little naive, like any college girl. I wish she had gotten more and more confident throughout the book instead of just bam confident at the end. Their chemistry together is off the charts. The plot kept me super interested and invested in finishing. It did end a little abruptly, tied up loose ends fast, but I still recommend this to spicy dark romance lovers.
