Say You Swear by Meagan Brandy is a Contemporary Sports Romance.

Arianna has been in love with one of her brother’s best friends, Chase, practically her whole life. Her brother is over the top protective of her though and Chase never made a move. The summer before they start college, it finally happens, they hook up. Then Chase tells Ari that it was a mistake. Ari is heartbroken and college starts off for her the complete opposite of how she dreamed it. She starts hanging out with Noah, the captain of the football team that her brother and his friends are on. Arianna has to figure out who she is and who she wants to be with.

This is such a sweet, heart wrenching read. The plot went a way different route than I expected. It was a little cliche but the author did it in a great way. Ari is so much more mature than your average 18 year old. I don’t think I could’ve handled Chase’s rejection as gracefully as she did. Chase is an idiot. Typical want what you can’t have but won’t fight for it until it’s too late. Noah is perfect book boyfriend material. He respects Ari, her choices and just wants her to be happy even if that means he’s not.
