Review | Savage Heir

by Jagger Cole

Title: Savage Heir

Author: Jagger Cole

Genre: Young Adult, Mafia Romance

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐

Spice: 🌶🌶

Savage Heir is the first book in the Savage Heirs Series by Jagger Cole. It is a Young Adult, Mafia Romance. It can be read as a standalone.

Let me start off with I did not understand this was basically set in a high school academy. Even after I started it, it sounded like a college. The academy is filled with the “Elite” of the worlds children. Tenley is the daughter of a politician running for Vice President of the US. She is your typical “good girl” with a plan for the future. That all changes when she’d forced to go to the academy with the Presidential candidates son and pretend they are dating. At the academy she meets Ilya “The Wolf” Volkov. Neither of them should be interested in the other but the forced proximity has them acting out of character.

I liked the story enough. Tenley and Ilya had great chemistry. I do think some parts could have been played up a little more while others I could’ve done without. For example, Tenley running away from Ilya so many times was not believable at all. I loved the Bratva element. I’m a sucker for any mafia romance. It was a little predictable but it kept my attention, I was entertained and I would a sequel about the two.
