Hat Trick Heart is a Contemporary, Sports, Reverse Harem Romance by Ella Market with a bit of Second Chance and Friends to Lovers mixed in. It is the first book in the new Thunderclap Series but can be read as standalone. There is no cliffhanger, the series will follow different characters in each book. This book does include M/M content.

I really enjoyed this book. Mainly because I’m a native Floridian and it’s based on the Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey Team. Macey, our female lead, is a romance author based in Tampa, Florida who’s male best friends, Max and Andy, are on the “Tampa Thunder” hockey team. After years of radio silence from old college friend Rafe, who suddenly reappears, Macey is forced to look at her relationships differently. Macey and her hot hockey players have to navigate their new unconventional relationship through it’s ups and downs all while in the public eye. It’s a sweet read with just the right amount of angst.
