Please read the content/trigger warnings before starting this book!

Reading this book does not, in any way, mean I support or condone any of the dark subject matter in real life. This is a work of fiction and should not be misconstrued as anything other than a story.

Hunting Adeline is the second book in the Cat and Mouse duet by H. D. Carlton. It is a very Dark Romance.

Well I said Haunting Adeline was the darkest dark romance I had read but this sequel beat it. The emotions of this book had me in tears. Just when things were looking good for Addy and Zade, it all was ripped away. All that Addy went through, I felt her suffering as if it were my own. She might have felt broken but I saw her strength. Zade, poor Zade, running himself ragged trying to find her. His determination to find her and then his support afterwards, again had me all in my feelings. It had me on the edge of my chair the whole time.
